Before entertaining tens of thousands of fans at Fenway Park, the home of the Boston Red Sox, cancer survivor Sheryl Crow made a quiet visit today to Dana- Farber. Crow, who was successfully treated for breast cancer earlier this year, met with women and doctors at Dana-Farber's Women's Cancers Program and children being cared for in the Jimmy Fund Clinic. The visit was unannounced, so it was a pleasant surprise for those waiting for appointments or receiving chemotherapy to have the opportunity to meet the nine-time Grammy Award winner.
