'Key' award goes to Institute physician
George P. Canellos, M.D.
George P. Canellos, M.D., medical director of Network Development for Dana-Farber/Partners CancerCare, received the 1999 Key to the Cure Award, presented by the Cure for Lymphoma Foundation.
Canellos, who was the founding chief of Medical Oncology at Dana-Farber, was honored for his continuing commitment to lymphoma research. He is a member of the senior medical staff at Dana-Farber, Brigham and Women's Hospital, and Massachusetts General Hospital, as well as William Rosenberg Professor at Harvard Medical School.
