How do I contact the DF/NHOH unit if I have questions?
You may call (603) 552-9100 or e-mail DFCI_NHOH@dfci.harvard.edu.
I currently see a physician from NHOH. What are my options for continuing to see the same physician?
NHOH physicians Dr. Fred Briccetti, Dr. Meredith Selleck, Dr. Douglas Weckstein, and Dr. Jeanna Walsh from NHOH practices joined the Dana-Farber medical staff and provide services at the new unit. They will continue to work with the other members of your care team — surgeons, radiation oncologists, and primary care physicians — to ensure other aspects of your care are unaffected. While providing care in Londonderry, they will also continue to see patients at their practices in the Southern and Central New Hampshire region, including Concord, Hooksett, Laconia, and Exeter. A list of each physician's practice locations can be provided upon request.
When I see one of the four physicians listed above at another site, am I still a Dana-Farber patient?
No. When you are seen at the Dana-Farber unit in Londonderry (or at any other Dana-Farber facility), you are a Dana-Farber patient. If you see these physicians (or any other NHOH physician) at one of NHOH's independent practice locations, you would be an NHOH patient. Similarly, if you were to be admitted to a hospital and receive in-patient physician care from one of the NHOH physicians, you would be an NHOH patient at that time (as well as a patient of the particular hospital).
Where will I receive in-patient care, if needed?
If you need to be admitted for in-patient care, you may select the hospital of your choice. In addition to local options, you will have access to Dana-Farber's in-patient services in Boston. You, in consultation with your physician, can make the choice that best suits your needs.
How do I transfer my care to the DF/NHOH unit in Londonderry?
To discuss transferring your care, contact our New Patient Coordinator at (603) 552-9100. You will be asked to give some preliminary information over the phone. The New Patient Coordinator will then walk you through the process of obtaining your records and sending them to our office, and will schedule your first appointment.
What services will be available and who will provide them?
As a Dana-Farber patient, you will have access to Dana-Farber's medical oncology services, clinical trials, pain and palliative care program, genetic screening, social work, nutrition, a resource room, and a survivorship program. Other services within the unit will include a boutique and complementary therapies. Lab, imaging, urgent care, and other services are provided within the same building by Elliot Health System.
Will my insurance still be accepted?
