Meet the Members
Marlene Nusbaum, PhD
Marlene Nusbaum has been a marketing and management professional for over 20 years. Prior to her business career, she taught French for 10 years in private schools and universities in Greater Boston. In addition to directing her marketing and management consulting business, she enjoys traveling, writing and cooking.
Marlene works as a patient rounder for Patient and Family Relations and serves on the Healing Environment Committee; 450 Brookline Avenue Committee (Public Spaces); Process Flow Team; and the Adolescent and Youth Adult Program (AYA) Committee. She has also contributed to Side by Side.
She is married to a wonderful, zany guy from South Africa, has a 27-year-old daughter and two stepchildren. She was diagnosed with Stage II breast cancer in October 2003 and was treated at Dana-Farber. Marlene has learned from her cancer that every day is a gift, and she seeks to make the most of her recovery by easing the path for others touched by the disease.
