Meet the Members
Martha Hayward
Martha, who joined the Council in January 2007, just 18 months after being treated for breast cancer, is also a member of the Patient and Family Communications Committee. She is a marketing and communications consultant and partner in a firm on the North Shore of Boston.
In the early months of her recovery, Martha developed the idea for Remember Beads, a new way to bring awareness to more women in the world about the importance of breast self examination.
