Meet the Members
Michele Dechiaro
Michele Dechiaro works as a counselor in a middle school. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys cycling, reading and gardening. Michele is happily married to a "wonderful man," and they take enormous pleasure from their beloved dog.
A patient diagnosed in 2005 with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Michele has been successfully treated at Dana-Farber and is currently healthy and enjoying life.
Michele joined the Adult Patient & Family Advisory Council in 2007 and is already fully engaged in its activities. She serves on the Adolescent and Young Adult Committee and has recently assumed the responsibility of serving as editorial co-chair of Side By Side.
