The Pediatric Patient and Family Advisory Council
Council Membership
Staff include:
- Associate Chief of Pediatric Oncology
- Chief of Pediatric Nursing and Patient Services
- Nurse Program Manager for the Jimmy Fund Clinic
- Nurse Program Leaders for CHB inpatient oncology and neuro-oncology units
- Child Life Specialist
- Director, Pediatric Psychosocial Support
One patient/family member and one staff member share leadership responsibilities of the Council.
Each month, the Council discusses ongoing initiatives and assigns follow-up directives. Members are required to attend the two-hour monthly meetings and to work on issues outside of Council meetings.
